Engineering: In India, Engineering is one of the most revered courses of all time. Firstly, to get into an engineering college you would have to clear your JEE Mains. If you want to get into the IIT’s and ISM’s you would have to clear JEE Advanced too. Apart from that you also need to have 50% minimum aggregate in your 12th boards. Subjects like Math, Physics and Chemistry are a must.

MBA: For most undergraduates next option is an MBA degree. According to Business Today FMS Delhi ranks 4th on the top ten list. The list concludes with MDI in Gurgaon, IIFT and IMI in Delhi. Other than that you plenty of other good MBA colleges in Delhi, that are within top 50, like Department of Management Studies in IIT Delhi, Birla Institute of Management Technology, IILM etc.

To get into a prestigious business school you would have to clear CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT etc. Also you need to have an undergraduate degree with a minimum cut-off of 50% to be eligible to apply in an MBA college.

Medical: For all those future doctors, there is no better college than AIIMs in Delhi.  Other than that you have Maulana Azad Medical College, Lady Hardinge Medical College and University College of Medical Science & GTB Hospital.

Firstly, the student not only needs to be from a science stream, but also needs to have biology as one of their core subjects in 12th std. Apart from that you also need to clear the various entrance exams that are associated with the various universities. Based on the merit list that is derived from the entrance exam and your results from 12th boards, the eligibility of a candidate would be determined.

Commerce, Arts and Science: Delhi University is the best in India. It has some of the best colleges in the country. Students come from all over the country to get into the various colleges that are affiliated to Delhi University. SRCC is the best in commerce, LSR is the best in Arts and Stephen’s college is best in Science nationally. Other than that you have JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Indraprastha University etc.

Delhi University has made a benchmark when it comes to cut offs and eligibility criteria. In 2014, 100% was the cut-off for computer science programs for non-science aspirants. For Science aspirants the cutoff’s went as high as 98%; for arts the cut-offs ranged between 99.75% – 97%. SRCC’s cut off for commerce and economics was 99.25% – 97.5%.

Others: Apart from this, Delhi is also home to many creative courses like fashion design, journalism, fine arts, theater etc. You have the best college Indian colleges like NIFT, IIMC, NSD etc. located here. Each and every institute has their own entrance exams and criteria for eligibility. Some accept on the basis of your 12th boards while others, hold their examinations that would qualify candidates.
